The Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) program is an Australian Government initiative. The program offers a range of opportunities for the Australian community to share skills and foster linkages with people and organisations in developing countries to make a difference as part of Australia's overseas aid program. So why should you volunteer with the AVID Program?
Scope Global is delivering a Disability Initiative Grant Funding Project in disability inclusive development through the AVID program, supporting DFAT’s own efforts to implement the Development for All 2015-2020 strategy. Scope Global is keen to capture Australian volunteer achievements in this area and to begin to document and promote disability initiatives and activities in the AVID program.
Applications will close 19th February 2016.
For more information, please register for the Disability Initiative Grant webinar which will take place on Monday 8th February 2016 and will be hosted by our Disability Development Officer, Alexandra Kay. Two sessions will be available at 11.30am and 3.00pm Adelaide time.
Scope Global is now offering AVID assignments in Bhutan.
