Sumba Hospitality Foundation (SHF) is a non-for-profit organisation. Their aim is to raise awareness and responsibility of young and underprivileged students. They focus on education, protecting the environment, promoting sustainable tourism and exploring new possibilities to help the people of Sumba and surrounding islands.
As the Permaculture Development Advisor you will improve the capacity of teachers in the permaculture techniques by designing and conducting training in permaculture. You will support community engagement in permaculture farming and assist SHF to monitor the new permaculture program.
This assignment will improved local capacity for social change towards sustainability through the use of permaculture principles.
