Improve the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of program reporting at the Vanuatu Family Health Association (VFHA). VFHA is passionate about leading the provision of quality sexual reproductive health services in Vanuatu.
VFHA is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The organisation was registered in 1991 and implements clinical family planning services and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) awareness in urban and rural islands of Vanuatu. Its key implementing partner is the Vanuatu Ministry of Health.
VFHA implements a good number of project activities annually and needs an M&E advisor to develop the program officers capacity to effectively monitor its activities and develop quality reporting to donors. The volunteer will contribute to development of VFHA program officers’ capacity to do evidence based project proposals, quality monitoring of activities and quality reporting of activities to donors. The M&E Advisor will also work closely with the VFHA IT supervisor to analyse VFHA clinic and activity data and advise management, nurses and program officers of improvements of activities and clinical services.
The Assignment will contribute to strengthening of VFHA related projects to effectively address the communities’ sexual and reproductive health rights. Assisting in effective prevention of STI/HIV transmission, prevention of unplanned and unwanted pregnancies, enabling the community to access family planning, sexual and reproductive health to marginalised communities especially people living with a disability.
