Assignment Summary
How would you like to work amongst 200 square kilometres of tropical forest and grottos, in a landscape rich with wildlife and natural beauty in Vietnam’s oldest national park?

In the role of Multimedia Communication Advisor for Save Vietnam’s Wildlife (SVW) you will have the opportunity to work in Cuc Phuong National Park. SVW was founded in 2014 in order to more actively involve Vietnamese people in securing a future of Vietnam’s wildlife. SVW is a national Non-Profit Organisation committed to protecting and increasing the endangered wildlife population of Vietnam by rescuing threatened animals, protecting populations and ensuring secured habitats. One of its important goals is to promote positive perceptions and attitudes towards wildlife conservation through raising awareness of its activities.

As an Australian volunteer you will build the capacity of the Communication and Education Outreach Team at SVW to develop multimedia products, implement the communication strategy and marketing/fundraising plans and raise awareness and funds for SVW’s research, rescue, rehabilitation, education and outreach projects.

Ultimately, this role will increase education levels in the community on the importance of wildlife conservation and, increase community involvement to influence government policy in this important area.
