Assignment Summary
Basketball is bringing people together in Fiji. It has become a tool for social inclusion, empowerment, and healthy living. Help to share these stories across Fiji and encourage women and girls to get involved and reap the benefits of participation.

Basketball Fiji conducts programs and competitions to develop the profile of basketball across the nation. It engages with a number of sectors and stakeholder groups to build a stronger understanding of community problems and to use basketball to address those issues. It also provides competition opportunities at the grassroots, representative and international level.

As the Advocacy and Communications Officer, you will improve public relations through the development of a marketing and communication strategy, and use events/competitions to promote healthy living. You will also develop advocacy programs to increase female participation in the sport.
