Are you looking for an organisational development role with a difference? Use your experience to support Ba Women’s Forum to improve their organisational structure.
The Ba Women’s Forum (BWF) is an umbrella organisation for all 69 women’s clubs in the Ba region of the north coast of Viti Levu, with more than 1500 members. The mission of the BWF is to empower women by making them self-sufficient through various skills development and economic sustainability programs. The Pearl Livelihoods Project focuses on training members of BWF in design and production of ‘Fiji made’ mother-of-pearl handicrafts and jewellery items that are retail ready.
Your role will involve reviewing current structure and implement effective HR development by working with key staff on defining staff roles and finalising job descriptions, assisting with training on effective recruitment processes and addressing staff skills gaps through staff development plans. You will also improve staff understanding of OHS requirements.
Your role will help unlock the region’s mother-of-pearl (MOP) jewellery and handicraft industry’s income potential and contribute greatly towards BWFs mission of improving self-sufficiency of women through appropriate skills training.
