Reduce Smoking and the Impact of Smoking! Be the health economic researcher for Muhammadiyah Tobacco Control Centre, a research centre that works towards creating and increasing awareness and willingness of Indonesians to organize themselves in making efforts to reduce the impacts of smoking.
Muhammadiyah Tobacco Control Centre is a unit of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta which was established in 2011. They share their research results with similarly focused networks all over Indonesia, hold campaigns against smoking, support government policies and institutions that works against smoking, and spread anti-smoking messages to the Indonesian public.
You will be working with the research staff to strengthen their research capacity including building of research proposal, collection and analysis of data and the development of high quality academic writing.
Your role will directly reach target communities and contribute greatly to the host organisations vision of creating a healthy generation in Indonesia by the reduction of smoking and the impact of smoking.
