Assignment Summary
Bring your economics expertise and research know-how to Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbaatar, and help the team at the Economic Policy and Competitiveness Research Center (EPCRC) build their skills and capacity.

The EPCRC are local leaders in economics research. Working in partnership with major international NGOs like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The organisation produces high quality research for use by government, business and the public, using world-class methodologies.

Your work will be a mix of capacity building for the EPCRC team. You will work to increase their skills in project development, proposal and report writing. You will also use your economics and research skills in developing the teams English analytical skills, identify new research opportunities and apply best research practices and analysis.

This role will ultimately contribute to a better public understanding of economics issues in Mongolia and the shift toward a greener economy.
