Help ensure that the vision of Fred Hollows lives on. The host organisation is on the lookout for a Program Development Officer. Would this role be of interest to you?
The Fred Hollows Foundation (FHF) is an international development organisation, established in 1993 with its headquarters based in Sydney, Australia. Their vision is for a world in which no person is needlessly blind. FHF is inspired by the work of the late Professor Fred Hollows (1929-1993), working in 25 countries including Vietnam. The Fred Hollows Foundation in Vietnam (FHFVN) was established in 1993 to continue the work of the late Professor Hollows. They have an ambitious five year strategic plan that aims to take the foundation even closer to realising their vision of ending avoidable blindness.
You have the opportunity to join the team in their mission to end avoidable blindness. In this volunteer role as a Program Development Officer, you will be responsible for increasing staff capacity in program related documentation including proposal writing, project implementation plans and monitoring and evaluation.
As the Program Development Officer, your contribution will impact the Vietnamese local community. These include increased access to quality eye health care for community members, increased education and awareness on eye health issues and strengthening the capacity of staff to deliver community eye help programs.
