Share your valuable skills as an Occupational Therapist Trainer in Vietnam and support the education of occupational therapy (OT) and the patients who need occupational care.
The demand for Occupational Therapy in Vietnam is huge, however in Vietnam, specialized OT training is not yet available at all levels. There is currently only one module in physiotherapy training.
USAID and The Medical Committee Netherlands-Vietnam (MCNV) have supported the project on development of OT training at Hai Duong Medical Technical University (HMTU) to strengthen the capacity of OT training.
In this role you will help HMTU to support and strengthen the OT training program and OT clinical practice. You will share your knowledge of OT and how it can help people, young and old, who have disabilities, injuries and disorders that affect Activity Daily Living (ADL) and movement functions. You will also focus on supporting students undertaking clinical practice, mentoring them on how to effectively engage with patients and families in the community.
Your role with HMTU will increase skills and knowledge of OT students and you will directly contribute to major benefits for patients in Vietnam.
