Give a child the gift of ‘child hood’ by supporting child rights initiatives, and reducing poverty amongst the most marginalised populations in the Philippines.
Quidan Kaisahan Negros Occidental, Inc. (QK) was formed in 1996 with a mission of reducing poverty in the rural villages of Negros Occidental. They work with rural leaders and volunteers, local government units, the private sector and community-based organisations to develop community mechanisms and systems that promote participation on governance, reduce poverty, and improve access to basic services and economic resources. By effectively communicating, promoting and marketing its programs and experiences, QK can broaden the constituency for participatory local governance, child protection and poverty reduction; raise awareness and influence state policies and programs; and increase knowledge of the organisation’s accomplishments and competencies to strengthen its competitive position for resource mobilisation.
The timeframe for this role is negotiable. As Human Resources Officer you will focus on working with staff to produce a human resources management plan and build staff capacity in human resources management systems, policies and procedures.
