Work with the United Nations Development Program to bring digital banking to Fiji!
Digital financial services have become a priority area globally as well as within the Pacific. The Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme (PFIP) is actively working with a series of private and public sector partners to develop and deploy new digital financial products to people in rural and remote areas.
You will support the PFIP team in the frontline by playing a coordination role between key stakeholders such as banks, microfinance institutions, mobile money service providers, network providers, the Reserve Bank of Fiji and other key stakeholders. The work will require skilful advocacy, networking and liaising with key stakeholders including the Reserve Bank of Fiji, relevant Government stakeholders, private sector partners and other key stakeholders in support of the development and deployment of digital financial services by PFIP partners, together with supporting activities pertaining to the PFIP innovation hub.
Your role will help people in remote and rural areas of Fiji have access to and usage of quality and sustainable digital financial services to manage their money and investments and help achieve their financial goals.
