Assignment Summary
Jaringan Masyarakat Sipil (JMS) needs your expertise in fundraising and grant sourcing!

JMS, on Indonesia’s island of Lombok, works to improve life for people living in the region through supporting participatory, accountable and community-centred development, helping the local community in its interactions with government.

Your role as Fundraising Advisor will see you working closely with local staff on grant sourcing and fundraising activities. You’ll begin by assessing the current skill levels of staff, and then design your approach around any gaps determined, providing workshops and training to strengthen the organisation’s overall capacity in these areas. You’ll be involved in developing a fundraising strategy to guide future activities, and work collaboratively to plan and execute fundraising activities, including measuring their impact.

In the long run, your work will contribute to the community’s improved access to networking opportunities, basic civil rights, disaster reduction information and job opportunities.
